One of the best ways we can Strengthen ourselves and our Families is to gain our own testimonies about the importance of effective gospel teaching. I have heard that the home can truly be second to the temple in sacredness when we let the Spirit of the Lord abound within the walls of our homes. As the world becomes a darker and scarier place to live, I sometimes feel burdened and overwhelmed at the responsibility of creating such an environment and Spirit in my home. However, when I take a step back and remember that this is the adversary talking, I am empowered from on high to lead my family in righteousness.
As we have worked together as a Presidency to put this blog together I have been overwhelmed with all the resources that are truly available to me. For all the evil that seems to penetrate the "hearts of men", the work of the Lord is truly being hastened and "they that are with us are greater then those that are with them." May these resources prove helpful and beneficial to you as well, our sweet sisters.
